What is the House of Basketball of Porretta Terme?
The House of Basketball is a place dedicated to the surprising history of basketball in Porretta Terme and the proclamation of the Madonna del Ponte as Patron Saint of Basketball Players. The exhibition presents a large collection of historical relics and devotional objects donated by athletes and sports clubs to the Patron Saint of Basketball. Discover a unique collection enriched by photographs, drawings, images and numerous autographed game shirts!
The material on display comes mainly from the collection created by the Amici del Basket Association and from devotional objects received by the Parish of Porretta Terme and the Municipality of Alto Reno Terme.
The exhibition is the result of the collaboration between the Municipality of Alto Reno Terme and ASD Trottola Sport of Porretta Terme, with the support of the Emilia Romagna Committee of the Italian Basketball Federation and the Parish of Porretta Terme
